No. Fancy text is made of Unicode characters, not a font file. You copy it as ordinary text and paste it wherever text is accepted, so there is nothing to install.
The app or device you paste into draws the characters with its own font. When that font has no shape for a character, it shows a box or a blank space instead. Styles in the "Shows on most phones and computers" group are the safer choice.
Not always. Some apps limit how long a name or bio can be, and some remove certain symbols. Paste your text and check how it looks before you save it.
Screen readers may read styled letters oddly or skip them. Keep important details, such as how to contact you, in plain text.
The Fancy Text app on the App Store has every style, plus Studio and nicknames. This site lets you copy the free styles.
